The mission of Debio R.P., located in Martigny (VS), is to support the development of Debiopharm's new products and improvement of existing ones, by setting up innovative formulations such as controlled release formulations, nanoparticles and polymeric micelles and processes such as encapsulation, coating, extrusion.

For the Pharmaceutical Development Departement, Debio R.P. is looking for a:

Pharmaceutical Project Manager  

The Pharmaceutical Project Manager will be responsible for improving Company's know-how in the field of controlled drug delivery systems based on biodegradable co-polymers (PLGA). Within the position scope is also to propose the most suitable innovations for advanced formulations, in order to extend drug product lifecycle and patient convenience, in the frame of multidisciplinary project teams.

Position's key responsibilities will be:

• Identify new/advanced controlled drug delivery systems
• Carry out feasibility studies applied to molecules on development pathway or to existing products
• Assure the management of human resources and equipment of the area, according to Company policies and guidelines, setting goals and assigning tasks
• Effectively prioritizes development goals and strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary project teams
• Identify and propose effective collaboration with external organizations to address scientific/technical issues
• Initiate internal reports, patent applications and external publications

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical Sciences; PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology or related subjects
• Experience of injectable polymeric formulations is required, Industrial experience would be a plus
• Fluent in French, English, oral as well as written
• Good interpersonal, influencing, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Good leadership skills, strong results orientation
