| The Debiopharm Life Sciences Award / Switzerland |

The 2010 Debiopharm Life Sciences Award will be granted on September 2nd at 17h00, during the Annual EPFL Life Science Symposium to be held from September 2 to 4, 2010 in Lausanne. The 2010 Award will honour a European investigator below the age of 45 who has made outstanding contribution in the area of new drug delivery or pharmaceutical technology approaches. The deadline for application was May 10th, 2010 (see Application details). The Debiopharm Life Sciences Award is a tribute of Debiopharm Group to innovation as the key engine to medical progress, and it aims at motivating young innovative European researchers in the field of life sciences. It consists of a total amount of 100'000 Swiss Francs. One half of this amount is a personal reward and the other half supports the recipient's research. The research of potential candidates must show therapeutic and industrial potential in life sciences; novelty and originality; as well as importance and significance in connection with targeted therapeutic fields.
