The Debiopharm Life Sciences Award / Switzerland

On August 21, 2008 Debiopharm Group and the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) will honour a European scientist with the Debiopharm Life Sciences Award for her/his outstanding research in both fundamental and clinical neuroscience. The winner and his institute will receive CHF 100’000 and an etched crystal tribute commemorating this honour.

The Award, funded by Debiopharm Group and organised by the EPFL, aims to mentor and motivate young innovative European researchers in the field of life sciences. Potential candidates should be under the age of 40. Their research must show therapeutic and industrial potential in life sciences; novelty and originality; as well as importance and significance in connection with targeted therapeutic fields. The award will be granted annually for the next four years.
