Debio 0932 is a small molecule inhibitor of Heat Shock Protein 90 (Hsp90). Inhibition of Hsp90 results in the degradation of oncoproteins that drive malignant progression, including cell death. Debio0932 has shown efficacy in mice in various tumor xenografts. It is orally bioavailable and exhibits sustained tumor retention. Debio0932 will enter clinical phase I in early Q1 2010.
