The "Debiopharm / Valais pour les Sciences de la Vie" Award, of a value of CHF 20'000, was created in collaboration with the department of economic development of the Canton of Valais and The Ark Foundation, to honour inventors of a marketable innovative product, technology and/or service in the life sciences sector.

Debiopharm Group ™ (Debiopharm) has been sponsoring three scientific awards for several years, namely the Debiopharm Life Science Award, organised in collaboration with the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, the Japanese Cancer Association (JCA)-Mauvernay award in Japan, and the "Prix Debiopharm / Valais pour les Sciences de la Vie", in the Swiss canton of Valais.
The JCA-Mauvernay Award / Japan
The JCA-Mauvernay Award is organised each year in collaboration with the Japan Cancer Association (JCA). This award has a total value of CHF 25'000 ant it aims at recognising outstanding achievements in the field of oncology amongst Japanese researchers.
The Debiopharm Group Life Sciences Awards / Switzerland
Debiopharm Group™ grants each year the Debiopharm Group Life Sciences Award(s) organised in collaboration with the EPFL (Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland) to encourage excellence amongst researchers in life sciences. The awards has a total value of CHF 100'000 and is currently comprised of one main Award and two junior Awards.
