BC Platforms has announced a strategic partnership with OmicsBank to enable access to longitudinal and multi-modal real-world clinical and multi-omics datasets from emerging markets. The collaboration adds approximately 12 million patient lives from India and 500,000 from the UAE to BC Platforms’ network, featuring electronic medical records, pathology slides, medical images, and sequencing data. Integrated via the BC Unify, BC Mosaic, and BC Catalyst platforms, these datasets support the development of multimodal AI models and improve representation for South Asian populations, who currently account for less than 2% of global genome-wide association studies. This partnership expands BC Platforms’ global catchment to over 187 million patient lives across more than 35 countries.
